A note from Capt. Tyler regarding Covid-19
On August 11, 2022, the CDC updated its guidelines:
Test if
- you have been exposed to someone who is COVID-positive.
- you are symptomatic: feel like you’re coming down with a cold, have cold symptoms, or have an elevated temperature.
If you test positive or have symptoms, isolate promptly. Infected persons should stay in isolation for 5 days. Wear a well-fitting and high-quality mask if you must be around others.
Infected persons may end isolation after 5 days, only when they are without a fever for at least 24 hours without the use of medication, and all other symptoms have improved. They should continue to wear a mask or respirator around others at home and in public through day 10.
In complying with these new requirements we will no longer be asking for proof of vaccination or a negative test result. If you have had COVID within the three weeks leading up to your boarding date, please give us a call. And as always if you have any questions about whether you should join us or not, call us at (207) 594-8007.
