"Thank you, John, and your crew for the wonderful cruise.  It was just like having been invited to a sailing trip by very good friends.  An extra hand for the cook. "

On Board
The American Eagle

The American Eagle is a deep draft vessel designed to be safe and stable in open water. Her rig is simple and efficient.

The layout below is traditional, with the galley forward and main cabin aft, allowing two places to gather below decks.

With auxiliary power, she even goes fast when there isn't any wind!

Dining

Food is prepared on a wood-burning stove and the menu is varied and wonderful.

Smells of freshly baked bread tease the senses in anticipation of meals such as haddock with lemon caper sauce, green beans and Caesar salad.

A tasty treat at the end of one of these culinary delights may be hand-cranked ice cream. And what trip would be complete without the traditional lobster and pie feast on a deserted beach? schooner_dining_quarters.jpg
